In the Green color I see

Thy life springing

I see Thy two wings

in the green water and the yellow earth

The green carpet of Thy heaven

is spread on the earth

Reflect, God, Thy compassion

in the the tone of the green nature

Thy heart's emotions

are expressed in the ever-rising waves of the green sea

Through green Thou speakest;

through blue Thou art silent

Let my soul move in Thy thought as the green in the forest

Give me the patience of the green trees

that stand still, awaiting Thy command

I ask for the bowl of green poison

thet bringeth the life that follows death
